The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday by a final score of 126-99 for their 48th win of the season.
Luka Doncic had 30 points, Austin Reaves scored 20 points and LeBron James chipped in 19 points. The Lakers are off on Monday.
They face the Thunder again in OKC on Tuesday before taking on Doncic’s old team, the Dallas Mavericks, on Wednesday. Los Angeles will look to win its 49th game of the season on Tuesday versus OKC. However, the team may be shorthanded.
The Lakers announced on Monday that James is questionable to face the Thunder due to a left groin strain. The leading scorer in NBA history suffered a left groin injury in March against the Boston Celtics.
He missed seven games in a row before returning against the Chicago Bulls. The oldest player (40) in the NBA, James is averaging 24.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 8.4 assists for the Lakers this season.
The future Hall of Famer is shooting 51.3% from the field, 38.0% from beyond the arc and 77.7% from the free-throw line. James has appeared in 67 games this season. Los Angeles is 42-25 when the All-Star forward plays.
The Lakers are currently in third place in the Western Conference standings. They have four games left in the regular season.
