The former Tar Heels squared off for the first time since being teammates at North Carolina.
In one of the most anticipated matchups in G League Elite Camp action, former UNC basketball stars RJ Davis and Caleb Love squared off for the first time in their careers.
While the NCAA Tournament committee did everything they could to make a possible matchup happen (especially during the 2023-2024 season), this is the best we’ve got (for now).
Anyways, Davis got the upper-hand, helping guide Team One to a convincing victory over Love and Team Four.

After a 14-point outing in Saturday’s contest, Davis followed it up nicely with another strong performance. He finished the game with 13 points to go along with five assists, as he did a great job in facilitating the basketball in an effort to find his teammates open looks.
One of the biggest stretches of the game came with just under five minutes left to play. Davis knocked down back-to-back three pointers, essentially sealing the deal for his team, securing a perfect 2-0 record for the weekend.
