Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly open to continuing his career with a different franchise. After the Bucks’ third first-round exit, there have been speculations on Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee. There have been suggestions that the Greek Freak would get traded over the summer.

While the Bucks star signed a three-year, $186 million contract extension in 2023, the team’s lack of success isn’t helping him stay. Antetokounmpo is one of the NBA’s top stars, and some teams would rush to propose a deal once he makes the request.

A team that could pursue the 2021 Finals MVP is the Memphis Grizzlies. Fox Sports suggested the Grizzlies and Bucks exchange star players, with the addition of a few other role players from Memphis

Fox Sports proposed a deal around Ja Morant, Zach Edey and three future first-round picks.

They explained that the Grizzlies might need a change of scenery if they traded for Antetokounmpo. While Morant is still regarded as one of the best backcourt stars in the West, his off-court issues have often been the subject around him.

Fox Sports said the trade would benefit the Bucks since it would net them a star player who could attract fans.

“He also may be more enticing to Milwaukee because, not only does he allow them to stay competitive, but he will sell jerseys and keep the team relevant as they reset or rebuild,” Fox Sports suggested.

With Damian Lillard’s long-term absence due to his torn Achilles tendon, Morant will be the main attraction.

Another trade package for the Grizzlies would feature Jaren Jackson Jr., Marvin Bagley, John Konchar and Jaylen Wells. Both trade proposals feature the three future first-round draft picks.
