The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday in a rematch of Sunday’s game in OKC.

The Lakers defeated the Thunder on Sunday by a final score of 126-99. Los Angeles improved to 48-30. The team is in third place in the Western Conference standings.

Coming into Tuesday’s game, it seemed like the Lakers would rest Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and LeBron James, as all three players were listed as questionable to play.

However, Los Angeles announced that Doncic, Reaves and James are “probable” to play against Oklahoma City, the team with the best record in the NBA.

Luka Dončić (right groin strain), Dorian Finney-Smith (left ankle effusion), LeBron James (left groin strain), Austin Reaves (right ankle sprain) and Gabe Vincent (left knee effusion) have been upgraded to probable tonight in Oklahoma City.

Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) April 8, 2025 Doncic has appeared in 25 games with the Lakers, who acquired the superstar from the Dallas Mavericks in February. Doncic is averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists with Los Angeles.

Against the Thunder on Sunday, Doncic put up 30 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes of action. He finished with a plus-minus of +18.

After the Lakers play the Thunder, they will face the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas on Wednesday. That will likely be an emotional game for Doncic, who appeared in 422 games with the Mavericks.

A five-time All-Star, Doncic enters Tuesday’s game against the Thunder averaging 27.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists on the season in 47 games with the Mavericks and Lakers.
