The college basketball season came to a close over one month ago, with the Florida Gators being crowned as national champions.

Florida defeated Houston in the national title game after entering the NCAA Tournament as a No. 1 seed.

While the Gators held the spotlight for winning the title, all eyes turned to the transfer portal frenzy quickly after the season’s end.

One team that’s been an active program in the transfer portal is none other than the Michigan State Spartans, led by head coach Tom Izzo.

According to Tobias Bass, Michigan State is involved with Miami transfer Divine Ugochukwu. Bass explained that Ugochukwu will visit Izzo and the Spartans on Monday and Tuesday.

Tom Izzo and the Michigan State have already picked up commitments from two of the best transfer portal prospects in the country.

Soon after the season, four-star transfers Kaleb Glenn and Trey Fort announced their decision to make the move to the Big Ten and play under Izzo. Glenn previously played at FAU while Fort played for Samford.

Michigan State is recruiting established talent after an NCAA Tournament appearance that ended in the Elite Eight. Before losing to Auburn, Michigan State defeated Bryant, New Mexico and Ole Miss.
