The North Carolina Tar Heels continue to produce one of the most premier college basketball programs in the nation.
UNC boasts some of the most well-known coaching trees in college basketball, previously courting Dean Smith and Roy Williams.
Over the past several seasons, Hubert Davis has taken over as the head coach of the Tar Heels.
After his fourth season as the head coach at North Carolina, Davis was honored with a prestigious announcement from Team USA.
The North Carolina coach has been named a member of the Team USA Basketball team for the U19 division. Davis will be joining the unit as a court coach during training camp.
“USA Basketball Men’s U19 National Team Court Coach during training camp,” posted the official social media account of the North Carolina Tar Heels.
According to the official release from Team USA, Davis will be joined by Nate Oats from Alabama and Mark Pope from Kentucky as practice correspondents.
The head coach of the U19 Team USA Men’s National Team will be Arizona Wildcats head coach Tommy Lloyd, who is set to have a strong relationship with the Team USA community.
