Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels were forced back to the drawing board after an early exit in the postseason.

North Carolina suffered a first-round loss to the Ole Miss Rebels after defeating South Dakota State to punch their ticket into the NCAA Tournament.

After the season, Davis and his coaching staff lost a plethora of talent.

While RJ Davis is heading to the NBA Draft, a few other stars such as Elliot Cadeau and Ian Jackson, both of whom committed to UNC as some of the best guards in their respective recruiting class, have transferred from the program.

Jackson took to his talents to St. John’s while Cadeau will be playing for the Michigan Wolverines next season.

North Carolina also lost former blue-chip commit Drake Powell.

After one season at UNC, Powell is heading to the NBA Draft. As he worked through the draft process, Powell received an invitation for the NBA Draft Combine and once that news was released, the Tar Heels sent him a message.

“Best of luck at the Draft Combine, @drakepoww!” posted the official social media account of the North Carolina Tar Heels.
