Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels recently capped off the college basketball season which included an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Davis and his Tar Heels were eliminated in the first round, falling at the hands of Chris Beard and the Ole Miss Rebels.

The 2024-25 college basketball season marked the end for one of the greatest players to ever play for North Carolina.

RJ Davis, who originally committed to play for the Tar Heels as a blue-chip recruit played five seasons at UNC before making his way to the NBA Draft.

As Davis prepares for the road ahead, North Carolina posted a message for the college basketball legend.

“Legend 4 Ever 🙌 @ariidavis_” posted the official social media account of the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team.

Davis originally committed to North Carolina as a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 7 combo guard and the No. 50 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.

He helped the Tar Heels compete for an NCAA Tournament title during his time at UNC, playing alongside some incredible talent such as Armando Bacot and Caleb Love.

After UNC shared a tribute for his career, Davis took to social media to respond to the video.

“Yall gonna make me tear up man😢❤️,” Davis said
