RJ Davis will be an interesting name to keep an eye on heading up to the 2025 NBA Draft. The North Carolina Tar Heels guard may not be one of the most talked about players in the draft class, but his production in college suggests that he could be a name to keep an eye on.
During the 2024-25 college basketball season with North Carolina, Davis played in 37 games. He averaged 17.2 points per game to go along with 3.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and one steal, while shooting 41.3 percent from the floor and 35.4 percent from the three-point line.
Back in the 2023-24 season, however, he produced even bigger numbers. In that campaign, he averaged 21.2 points, 3.5 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.2 steals, shooting 42.8 percent from the floor and 39.8 percent from distance.
Even though he produced well at the college level, Davis has received a disappointing update ahead of the draft.
As shared by College Basketball Report, Davis was not invited by the NBA to participate in the NBA Draft Combine. It was a surprising snub, which he will have to overcome.
Among the other notable players who were not invited are Caleb Love, Kadary Richmond, Julian Newman, and Will Richard.
